Baby Belly Updates

I'm officially half-way there at 20 weeks, or 4 1/2 months. And like my last pregnancy, I feel great. I need a little extra sleep, but that's about it. :) The belly isn't too big yet as you can imagine, but big enough to wear maternity clothes.

Here's a picture from yesterday. It's not the best pic, but at least all you far-away folks can see me. :)

We finally have our ultrasound on Wednesday. Two more days, and we can know whether to expect another little boy or (as EVERYONE I've spoken to has wished for) a little girl. It's been a long wait. We had to reschedule because Scott had to go out of town for work, and of course they didn't have anything earlier, only later. So, Wednesday it is! I'm sure I'll post another blog with the big news.


In my on-going decluttering mission, I'm excited to finally find out if I sort all Josh's baby clothes or get rid of them. Either way, that mountain in the back of his closet has to be tackled.


We haven't explained anything to Josh yet as I don't suspect his little mind can grasp the concept of another 4 months. That's a lifetime to a two-year old. So we figure a month or two before the baby comes, and when my belly is much larger and visible to Josh, we'll start preparing him.


As for names, we haven't really discussed it much. Like last time, we'll get more serious about it after we know the baby's sex. And even then, we may keep it a secret this time. :) Just for fun.
