We had our ultrasound this morning, and it's a boy! I know Scott is very relieved. He was afraid of having a girl. :) The truth is, I'm a little relieved too. Haha! It was always the thought of a teenage girl that freaked us out. LOL. Anyway, we are very excited of course.
I look forward to sorting Josh's clothes and toys and not needing much at all for the new baby. We are currently looking for a toddler bed for Josh. He sleeps in the toddler bed version of the converted crib, but we'll switch that back to the crib soon and he'll need a bed. Then, by the time the new baby is big enough for a toddler bed, they can switch again. The crib also converts to a full-size bed. I've been dealing with craigslist but haven't been successful yet. I aim to not pay full retail price at the store. :)
Now that we know we're expecting a boy, we'll start talking more about names. Josh was 3 days old before we decided his name, so I don't expect this boy name to be any easier. It seems harder to pick a good boy name than a girl name for some reason. I really like the J names, so we'll see.
So the wait is over! It's a boy, and we're very excited. :) xoxo
Congrats!! I am so happy for you : ) YAY! You already have everything! I feel you on not paying full price - little ones grow out of things too quickly for all that $$! When I have my second one, even though I would LOVE to have a little boy, I already have all the girl clothes I would need. It would be much easier to have the same gender twice : )
