Three Weeks Old

Little Cal is already 3 weeks old today. A lot has happened in such a short time. As for the baby himself, his cord finally fell off last night :) He's gotten much bigger. As of last week he was 8 lbs. 11 oz., 8 oz. over his birth weight. Yay! And he's already out grown a couple of NB clothes.

(The boy's hair is crazy. I love it. It's like a natural faux hawk. :))

I'm so grateful that my mom was able to visit. She visited for a little over a week. It's always awesome to have her around. I enjoy her company and her help! She is a huge help, even keeping the baby for me one night waking to feed him so I could sleep. She's such a good Nana :)

What else. . . oh Josh loves his baby brother. But he has also given us a hard time lately. It breaks my heart that he feels the need to act out for attention. Scott and I both make time to spend with just Josh, but he still has been fighting us on things he never has. It's a challenge, but in the end I know Josh knows that we love him and that's all that matters to me. :) He's been especially well behaved the last two days. Thank you God! We've been super blessed to have Scott home for almost a month. He goes back to work tomorrow. And unlike my thinking a week or two ago, I'm confident the boys and I will be okay. :) We'll get through the day and I can handle it. I know it's "just" 2 kids, but it's still a learning experience for us all, creating new routines and ways of doing things. It's hard sometimes, but also so fun.
