Make a Difference Monday

Make a Difference Monday is an idea I got today from attending a M.O.M.S. group http://www.cschandler.com/moms. The radio station K-LOVE encourages people to seek out opportunities to show kindness to others or help them in some small way http://www.klove.com/BLOG/SCOTTANDKELLI/. I was so inspired today to begin this, what I hope will be tradition, with the boys - or at least Josh for now. :) It is such a simple and effective way to not just bless others but to teach Josh how to be a blessing.

So today we jumped right in. It is Monday afterall. We "helped Daddy" by sweeping and bagging up the leaves from the driveway. Here's a couple of cute pictures I took with the cell phone.


Josh enjoyed the broom. But then we had to "share" with Mommy so we could actually get them in a pile.

He did great with the dust pan. He knows just what to do with that.

It was a little difficult for him to grasp that we were helping Daddy since Daddy wasn't there. But he'll get it eventually. :) I'm really excited about this. I really want nothing more than to teach our kids and be great examples.

Little Cal did great too. He watched from his little baby rocking chair. I'll have more updates about him later this week after his 2 month doctor appointment.
